clearly striking. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Packanack Golf Club; camping at Point View Reservoir is fine fun, Brookwood Swim and Tennis Club is a fine local campground.
An interesting thing to go to next
to Point View Reservoir is Point View Dam; after a long day outdoors Wellesley Inn Wayne is a good place to spend a night or two. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Point View Reservoir, and all through the night it cools down
to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and night lows throughout the wintertime for Point View Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. Point View Reservoir gets a lot of water; during May this area sees
the most rain; the driest month of the year is February.
The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Mt. Peter, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Pequannock River.
Take a little tour to Haycock Brook since you're here at Point View Reservoir, and hiking along the Kakiat Trail is good fun.
