A great nearby hotel is Best Western Regency House Hotel. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Point View Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Camp Horizons. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Kakiat Trail is always a great adventure, and there's whitewater on Rockaway River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Lionhead Lake is in the vicinity, and it's a great idea to take a look at Haycock

| | Brook. There are other spots here than Point View Reservoir, for example Toms Lake, and magnificent skiing awaits you at Mt. Peter. You can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Sterling Forest, and if you need a site to stay La Quinta Inn and Suites Wayne is a great choice. highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Point View Reservoir drop into the 10's. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if
it's for you then we recommend Pequannock River, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Packanack Golf Club is around here. That right there is a load already, but it continues; Point View Reservoir has it all.
You can take a little visit to Point View Dam since you're here at Point View Reservoir, and you can stay the night at Rein Teen Tours. There is a magnificent hiking trail near Point View Reservoir called the Cannonball Trail, and
the peak of Packanack Mountain can be observed from Point View Reservoir. There are splendid spots to explore along the Pine Meadow Trail; Franklin Swamp is an attention-grabbing swamp in close proximity to Point View Reservoir.
Point View Reservoir usually gets a good deal of rainfall; through May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
