  Going for a hike on the Hicks Butte Trail is always a great adventure; the peak of Thomas Mountain can be distinguished from Iron Horse State Park. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Northern Cascade Range. Domerie Flats is a great place. There is wonderful outdoors recreation at Iron Horse State Park, so you can have a good time while you're here.
Don't forget to take a good little spree to Mill Creek. Good hiking is available along the Jolly Mountain Lookout Trail, and at Iron Horse State Park you can catch a glimpse of Mount Baldy.
    There are many enjoyable things to do for everybody to love. This is a fine wilderness area that is popular with folks from near and far.
A delightful location in the vicinity of Iron Horse State Park is Cedar Gulch; paddling on Cle Elum River is so much fun. Pleasant hiking
awaits you on the close at hand Domerie Peak Trail; this trail has an altitude variation of 2,254 feet and is 9.2 miles long. Being a challenging trail, hiking the Domerie Peak Trail takes something like one and a half days.
