Roan Mountain State Park Custom Search   The 15 trails of Ski Beech are all enjoyable and are served by 10 great ski lifts. The drop is 830 feet, and this ski hill gets covered by 7 feet of snow every season. Ski Beech is a skiers delight. It has 30% difficult trails on its 95 acres of skiing territory, and 70% blue and green trails for novices. There are 20 slopes to choose from and 8 good ski lifts at the close by ski mountain Sugar Mountain. Sugar Mountain gets blanketed by on average 7 feet of wonderful snow annually and has a great 1,200-foot vertical drop.
