The 24 slopes at Mad River Mountain are all fine; the altitude difference is 300 feet at this ski resort. Mad River Mountain obtains 3 feet of beautiful snow per year and has 12 lifts to move all the skiers up the mountain. On Little Miami River you discover the close by Clifton Gorge section. This is a type II-IV,     1.3-mile-in-distance stretch of whitewater. Whitewater boaters on this stretch of Little Miami River should have a little know-how in kayak paddling.
