There's a great 1.25-mile-long type III-IV whitewater section on Swan River nearby, the Bigfork Dam to Flathead River segment. For paddling this section of Swan River is an enjoyable place. Naturally, paddling is enjoyable but treacherous; check restrictions previous to going. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining stuff, what a great planet it would be. Time     spent at Long Beach in the vicinity of Wayfarers State Park is always delightful, and why not go to Eagle Bend West while you're here. This is a striking section of wilderness that is popular with people from near and far. Wayfarers State Park is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Bigfork Campground is a nice local campground.
