  On a gorgeous day you get a panorama of Mount McKnight from Custer National Forest. There are good places to look at along the Pyramid Trail, and you can catch a sight of Black Mountain from Custer National Forest. Boulder Mountain is pretty and can be made out from Custer National Forest, and going for a hike on the Sidehill Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Some of the water nearby flows, like Tumble Creek, and Custer National Forest is in close proximity to Silver Pass which is definitely worth visiting.
