Split Rock Lighthouse State Park Custom Search   On Split Rock River you come upon the close by Superior Hiking Trail to Highway 61 sector. This is a grade IV-V, 2.9-mile-in-length run of whitewater. Don’t count on remaining dry whitewater kayaking or rafting this run of Split Rock River. The CR3 to Glen Avon Falls sector is a fine 2.7-mile-from-start-to-finish category II-III(V) segment of whitewater on Beaver River - W.Br. If by chance you don’t feel like getting soaked, this segment of Beaver River - W.Br is most likely not for you. Of course, kayak paddling is fun but hazardous; check circumstances     before you go. Taking a little trip to close by Little Two Harbors is a splendid idea, and some of the water close by flows, like Kit Creek. There are loads of cool pastimes for everybody. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area in close proximity to Split Rock Lighthouse State Park has to offer.
