HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO GET INTO IT? Says JI

The Sheepscot Pond to Somerville segment is a good 4-mile-in-length class II part of whitewater on Sheepscot River. Whitewater boaters on this part of Sheepscot River don’t need a lot of practice in whitewater kayaking or rafting. The Coopers Mills to West Branch portion has a distance of 2 miles; you run into this sweep of whitewater on Sheepscot River. It's a type II-III sweep. This portion of Sheepscot River is appropriate for kayak paddlers who have been whitewater rafting or kayaking for some time but
who are not yet set for the incredibly hazardous rapids. You must check current conditions previous to going; whitewater rafting or kayaking could turn hazardous. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Damariscotta Lake State Park. Do stop by Boynton-Trask Dam if you're
here at Damariscotta Lake State Park; Duck Puddle Campground is a good campground nearby. If you're here at Damariscotta Lake State Park, do take a journey to East Neck, and the top of Peter Mountain is easily made out from Damariscotta Lake State Park.
