The 5 different ski lifts transport skiers up the 625-foot altitude difference at the close by ski mountain Ski Sundown. Ski Sundown boasts an average of 5 feet of good snow every year on its 15 slopes. Skiers from far and wide love Mount Southington. 25% of the trails at Mount Southington are black and red, and 75% are beginner and intermediate; there is a total of 51 acres of skiing     area. 8 good ski lifts transport skiers up the mountain, so they can enjoy the 14 trails of the nearby ski hill, Mount Southington. Mount Southington has a drop from top to bottom of 425 feet and obtains 7 feet of white snow per season. Powder Ridge is a wonderful ski hill, everybody likes it. 75% of the slopes are easy and appropriate for children and beginners.
