  There are 67 trails to choose from and 11 great ski lifts at the close by ski area Bear Valley. Bear Valley receives on average 30 feet of snow yearly and has a tremendous 1,900-foot drop. Skiers from all over like Bear Valley. 35% of the trails at Bear Valley are difficult, and 65% are green and blue; there is a total of 1,280 acres of skiable territory. Yeah, come here to Calaveras Big Trees State Park for a great time. Mill Creek is a stream that you may encounter while here. A tour to Million Dollar Spring will fill your spirit with tremendous feelings;
    nearby you hit upon wonderful locations like Windy Gap. If you come at the right time of year, Stanislaus River - North Fork offers some good whitewater. There's so much to do here at Calaveras Big Trees State Park that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Connell is a fine
spot for that. French Meadow is a delightful place any time of year, and Stanislaus Grove Big Trees is a forest that you can go to. Golf can be played at Meadowmont Golf Course, and you could always look at Squaw Hollow.
