Lucerne Valley Marina, Utah Custom Search   This is by far one of the worst places I have ever rented a boat. The service was awful!!! The staff was uninviting, the service was slow, we had a tube of our own but they did not have a pump to fill it (so they tried to have us rent one of their tubes that was only 75% full of air with no means to fill it), and most importantly they were dishonest! After we rented the boat for the day we returned it and had it inspected. After a much more thorough inspection     than when we first left for the day, the staff found a minor toothpick sized scratch on the undercarriage of the boat and said that we caused it. We were in shock as we only docked the boat twice that day and used three bumpers every time. There is always room to point the finger, but when all is said and done, there is no way we would have recognized the tiny scrape in the pre-rental phase. As a result to accusations, we simply asked that a supervisor call us and discuss before any penalty was enforced. A week or so later, it was brought to our attention that a $100 fee was charged for the sliver of a scrape and no supervisor called to discuss. Again, we will always discourage anyone from       renting from this place. BAD BUSINESS with no integrity. If we had actually caused the scratch that is one thing. Even worse, we were told a supervisor would call and discuss the issue and instead all they do is send a bill. If you   can find another place to rent from, DO IT! The pleasant staff and the admirably maintained facilities makes the visit here worthwhile. If you are in Utah all through boating season, you should go boating.
