Warden Lake

Beautiful lake on the top of a mountain. Stocked with trout in the spring. Good bass and catfish habitat. Does get fairly weedy in the summer months. Says Bobby Keith

That right there is a lot already, but it carries on; Warden Lake has it all. Warden Lake Dam is a place that is near Warden Lake, and lots of folks from Wardensville come here. Put some time aside to spend at Peewee Spring if you're here at Warden Lake. In the event that you enjoy whitewater,
there is the West Virginia 55/259 to West Virginia 259 sector, a grade II-III(IV) whitewater sweep on Lost River, 6 miles long. This sweep of Lost River is suited for whitewater paddlers who have been whitewater kayaking and rafting for a period of time but who are not yet set for the truly dangerous rapids.
