Had great cabins to rent - big lake that was furnsied water from Bluestone river that ran about 50 feet elivation     lower than lake shawnee. Had a great bathouse with water slide from the house to the hugh swimming pool. Had a rope swing to swing off into the water. Had a c/w band (usually Rex and Elenor, the merry makers) on the week end in the dance hall on top of the bath house. Very big and nice place to spend your summers and not too far from Bluefield. The amusement park was built in memory of Michel clays children who were killed on the property by Indians because they were playing on a old graveyard.
