The intermediate or beginner ski runs account for 80% of the ski runs at Christmas Mountain; no wonder this ski hill is such a nice spot. The hard ski runs make up 20% of the 40 acres of terrain at Christmas Mountain. There's a wonderful 4.5-mile-long type I(II) whitewater segment on Baraboo River     nearby, the Highway 12 to Highway 113 section.
