Lake Lamoille

This is a very confusing review. Lake Lamoille is not really an area for fishing (I live in Morrisville and can vouch for the fact that it's murky and where sewage runoff from the water treatment plant ends up). Sometimes I see kids fishing there but that's about it. Joe's Pond, which I've never been to, is about a 20 minute drive away on the other side of Rt 100 so it's not really close by if one wants to walk. Also, Barre, which is said here to be ''close''
is an hour south and is one of the Vermont's ugliest cities with the highest crime rate.

If you really want a good place to fish in Lamoille County check out Green River Reservoir (good camping there too), Elmore Lake or go
fly fishing in the many spots along the Lamoille River in Johnson, Jeffersonville and Cambridge. If you want a beautiful place for an easy hike and a nice (albeit COLD) waterfall check out Cady's Falls. Says Rebecca
