| | I believe this is the original Seymour Lake, discovered and named by either my grandfather, John Seymour or his father, Charles Wm. Seymour. That is what it was originally called, and how it appeared on maps until fairly recent history. Perhaps its history should be restored. The Notch is another wonderful place to go to nearby. This lake is located in the wonderful Uinta Mountains. Stay the night at Trial Lake Campground - Wasatch-Cache National Forest, and Seymour Meadow Lake Dam is a place that is in the vicinity of Meadow Lake.
