Custom Search     Chepeta Lake     Chepeta is a very hit or miss lake. Fishing can be absolutely dead one day and sweet the next. The water was crazy low two summers ago and there may not even be a lot of fish left unless they've planted it since. Worth the trip though -- if one lake is cold another will be hot. Says Matt Allred This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Spirit Lake Campground is a great place to camp. A lake nearby is Little Elk Lake. Now, you may     imagine that's lots but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Uinta Mountains.
