Wayne Smith Lake

This lake is so wonderful. Wayne Smith Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Blanco State Park is a glorious local campground. Take a side journey to East Fork Hinds Branch. There's a pleasant category I-V(V+) sweep of whitewater nearby on Blanco River, the 35-mile-long Blanco to Wimberly section. The Blanco to Wimberly section of Blanco River is fitting for whitewater boaters who have been kayak paddling for some time. A close by class II-III
whitewater run can be encountered on Little Blanco River; the FM 32 to Blanco River portion is 6 miles long. Don’t be sure of continuing to be dry whitewater boating this run of Little Blanco River if you're not an proficient paddler.
