The waters of this lake consist of some glorious catfish, bass, bluegill, crappie, gizzard shad, shad, sunfish, threadfin shad and walleye. South Holston Lake is a gorgeous 1600 acre lake. Everyone likes an enjoyable trip to close by Tilt, and if you crave getting out on the water, Pappy's Marina and Campground is close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. Relax with a splendid game of mini golf     at nearby Putt-Putt Golf Course, and do put some time aside to spend at Edmonds Spring while you're here at South Holston Lake. Love it. It's deep and clean. Hate they drop the water so low and so earily in the year tho. Hard for boats to get in and have to go to other places. Love the islands to stop and cook out and swim.
