Paris Mountain State Park is a fine place to stretch your legs a bit, and go on a trip to County of Greenville in the event that you want to ride a horse. A round of golf at nearby Keowee Key is a fine way to kill some time. Take a journey to nearby Whispering Pines Stable and ride a horse. Walnut Lane Inn is a tremendous spot to get some rest, and do go to Lake Cunningham, it's a charming lake. On Middle Tyger     River close by you come across the 2-mile-from-beginning-to-end Duncan to Startex sector of type III whitewater.
