Curwensville Lake

First off my husband worked at the dam some 30 years ago. We were also one of the first campers to stay in the campground some 18 or 19 years ago, before they put in the showers. We were also the first to camp down below across the now soccer field. We have visited many times over the years fishing, boating, camping and enjoying the activities. This was the first time we were ever treated so rudely by the park staff. The young man, covered in tattoos driving
a John Deer atv made our visit over the weekend of the 4th miserable. He was rude and had an attitude. He continued to yell at us about every rule change to where we lost our patience and yelled back, and he kicked us out, so a nice
weekend of boating and picnicking was ruined by this one person. We have never had a problem there, but after this I really don't see us returning or telling other people to. Sorry, but this has to be said and posted because we were not the only other people he acted this way to. Being polite to people is something this young man needs to learn, and he will be able to tell other people without getting the reactions he receives now. Says Debra Luzier
