Rock Creek Lake

This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you havenít been to John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, you should schedule some time for it while you're here. The Coffeepot Trail offers hiking at its best; why not a little side tour to First Creek. A tour to Buck Pasture invigorates the soul, and Edmonson Spring is a good local attraction.
All year is a good time in the Blue Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors.
If you came for an overnight stay Cottonwood Pit is a nice site to camp; there's good hiking along the Owl Creek Trail. Rock Creek Lake is right by the Black Canyon Trail, and camping is available at Cottonwood - Antone.
