  There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Central Cascade Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Rainy Lake; Wyeth Trail is a great local trail. Rodeway Inn Stevenson is a great place to get some rest, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Timberline Lodge. A tour to Starvation Creek State Park revives the spirit; Rainy Lake is right by the Pacific Crest Trail - section 23. This lake is one of the great places here
    in the Central Cascade Range.
