Mud Lake

It's a good idea to have a look at North Fork Rock Creek, it's close to Mud Lake, and there's good hiking along the Lower River Trail. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Coast Ranges. You can see Iron Mountain from Mud Lake, and the Bear Camp Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Barklow Mountain Campground is a great local campground, and lots of folks from Agness come here.
If you came for an overnight stay McCurdy
Campground is a good site to camp. Going to Siskiyou National Forest in close proximity to Mud Lake is a wonderful thing to do; tremendous hiking is available along the Mountain Wells Trail.
