Kauppi Lake

On Rock Creek you bump into the close by Keasey to mouth sector. This is a grade I-II(III), 12.2-mile-in-length segment of whitewater. The Keasey to mouth sector of Rock Creek is fitting for raft paddlers who have been kayak paddling for a bit but who are not yet prepared for the very dangerous rapids. The Upper Nehalem to Vernonia portion is a tremendous 10-mile-long grade I-II stretch of whitewater on Nehalem River. This stretch of Nehalem River is suited for
kayak paddlers who haven't been whitewater kayaking and rafting for very long. For your security you have to always check restrictions in advance of going whitewater kayaking and rafting.
