  On a great day at Johnson Reservoir you can take a hike along the Fawn Spring Trail, and a visit to Big Glade Spring will fill your soul with good feelings. These mountains rock, just check out all the entertaining things to do in the Blue Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Ray Cole Campground is a good spot to camp, and the top of Sugarloaf is easily observed from Johnson Reservoir.
This lake is so wonderful. It's always great to explore Shields
    Spring, and Americas Best Value Inn John Day is a splendid place to get some rest. The 0.7-mile-from-start-to-finish Fawn Spring Trail has an elevation difference of 112 feet; it is a pretty hiking trail.
