Frying Pan Lake

It is more of a seasonal body of water. It is a grassy meadow in hot dry summers. Flooded by snow melting in a shallow basin. Says Danforth Rugby

No fish here. At least no fish jumping. Probably winter kills as Google Earth show this lake very low by late summer. Says Kirk Weller

Basin Point is clearly visible from Frying Pan Lake, and some close by water includes Mud Creek. There are 9 good ski lifts at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl, a ski hill featuring
a tremendous 1,500-foot drop from top to bottom and 65 ski slopes. Mt. Hood Ski Bowl obtains an average of 25 feet of fluffy snow every winter.
