Dry Lake

Dry Lake is located in the Blue Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Blue Mountains. Since you're here at Dry Lake why not go to Pine Hollow, and why not camp at Barnhouse while you're here at Dry Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, John Day Fossil Beds National Monument is a national park worth visiting, and Cottonwood - Antone is a great local campground. A wonderful 1.0-mile-long charming backcountry trail boasting
a difference in altitude of 301 feet is to be found close by; this is the Owl Creek Trail. A nice one hour of backcountry trekking lies ahead for you along the Owl Creek Trail.
