  This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Howard Cutoff Trail, and close by you hit upon good locations like Vance Draw. There's good hiking along the Cook Creek Trail; camping at Dougherty Springs is always a great experience.
If you need a spot to stay Rimrock Inn is a good choice, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Imnaha here. 3.6 miles of striking backcountry trail can be found around here; this is the Howard Cutoff Trail in possession
    of a difference between top and bottom of 671 feet. 4,256 feet of altitude variation and 7.7 miles of trekking is what you get at Cook Creek Trail, a delightful backcountry trail in the vicinity.
