Springfield Lake

Springfield Lake is a charming 200 acre lake.

There's a good type V section of whitewater close by on Cuyahoga River, the 1-mile-long Broad Blvd to Front St sector. On the whole this section of Cuyahoga River is a challenging location for kayak paddling. In case you're trying to find a type III-IV whitewater bit to raft, you're in luck; the Ohio Edison Dam to Cascade Valley Metro Park sector is a great 1-mile-long piece of Cuyahoga River. Don’t rely on
remaining dry raft paddling this bit of Cuyahoga River if you're not an skilled paddler. Paddling can get dangerous, so check circumstances before you go.
