| | Have to hit Rio Reservoir soon!! Getting itchy to catch some spawning bass. Should be a good time to go soon. Warming up nice, could be warmer, oh well. Any good soft plastics to use here for bass? I use culprit worms most of the time. Do pretty good. Anyone recommend certain plastics here, please post. Really appreciate this!! Says Jeff Costigan
WENT HERE FEW YEARS BACK W/MY BROTHER. FISHED FROM SHORE, WISH WE HAD A BOAT. CAUGHT SOME PICKEREL THAT |
DAY, NICE SIZE, 16-20 INCHES. SAW 1 BOAT COME IN, AFTERNOON. THEY PULLED UP & ASKED IF ANY, SAID SURE, A 10 POUND BROWN TROUT. I THOUGHT HE WAS LYING UNTIL HE PULLED IT OUT, BIGGEST TROUT I EVER SAW IN MY LIFE. BEAUTIFUL, NO MARKS.
| ASKED WHAT HE WAS GONNA DO WITH IT, SAID PROBABLY EAT IT, ASKED WHY NOT MOUNT IT, SAID HE CATCHES THEM THAT SIZE PRETTY MUCH ALL THE TIME. SAID IF WAS ABOUT 20 POUNDS THEN WE WOULD MOUNT IT. ASKED ABOUT THE BASS FISHING ON RIO, SAID IT IS FANTASTIC. ANY AREAS NEAR RIO WHERE I CAN RENT A JON BOAT?? WOULD BE PERFECT TO HIT BASS & PICKEREL IN IT. PLEASE LET ME KNOW, THANX!! JEFF COSTIGAN.
