Custom Search     Mounts Creek Lake     I now moved to Texas last fall just before deer season and there is nothing like central NY in October and November. The color of the leaves the smell of the cool fall air, to hear that first crack of the rifle since last year, then hear the crackling of the radio saying ''I GOT ONE GUYS! And then to go back to a nice warm camp to eat chili, drink beer, play cards, watch the game on TV and keep looking over your shoulder outside to the porch where your trophy     of a buck is hanging. Says Dan Deyle I may be partial to the Adirondacks but, I have traveled across the U.S. stopping in Denver for two years. I have witnessed the spectacular views the Rocky Mountain Range offers from pikes peak in Colorado to the Tetons in Wyoming, stopping in Cooke City Montana for a few months. Never in my life have I been so impressed with any views of nature like the ones we see here in the Adirondack mountains. Mounts creek lake is a beautiful secret not to many people in the area are familiar with. Maybe if there was something to fish for people may make an effort       to find out where exactly this lake is located ? Enjoy the Adirondacks don't take them for granted. Says Clint Farber The deer hunting was slow this year but we didn't catch some nice bucks on the trail camera. We did not get   into camp sas muckh beacause of the logging outfit ou of Pa tor up our trail and we haD TO REPAIR it this spring hopefully we can get a shot at those bucks this fall if they made it through the winter. EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE NO FISH IN THIS LAKE THE VIEW FROM THE ROCK LEDGE ON THE WESTERN SHORE IS BREATH TAKING,ESPECIALY IN LATE SEPTEMBER WHEN THE LEAVES HAVE CHANGED COLOR. IT IS GREAT EXERSIZE GETTING TO THERE AND YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO VISIT MY CAMP ON TWIN VLYS, WHICH IS JUST A SHORT HIKE AWAY.
