Custom Search     Deer Lake     Great place very quiet cabin very nice and a lot of fish. Says Lee Tobler Hiking is a popular thing to do around Deer Lake; Clear Creek Trail is a fine local trail. Stay the night at Clear Creek Campground, and the Penas Negras Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. At Deer Lake you can catch a sight of Blue Bird Mesa; a visit to Fenton Lake State Park rejuvenates the soul. Just can't get enough of Deer Lake. If you need a site to     stay Comfort Inn & Suites Los Alamos is a great choice, and a short trip to Horseshoe Spring is always worthwhile.
