Grenloch Lake

The lake this year has been so good that I haven't fished anywhere else since opening season for trout. Average trout are about 10 to 15 inch, mostly rainbows with a few brookies thrown in. The best part is, your chances of hooking up to a 4 to 7 lb Brown are very high especially during early morning and early evening. Mealy, wax worms, power bait(orange, white, yellow, and orange rainbow), white, orange, yellow and silver rooster tails are the ticket for all
trout on this lake. Off the spillway from shore and near the tree stump to the left hand side of the the flag. At the flag is the 9 ft. Hole or drop excellent area. Please remember to be courteous, we can't all fish the same spot.

The
large mouth bass are awesome here, average bass is between 2lbs and 9lbs with some bigger ones thrown in if you can get them to bite. This is spawning season so please practice cath and release. The fight is awesome and this place gets better every year because of the regulations that are in place. Now all we need is the parks dept. To pick up the garbage from the overflowing garbage cans both at the dock and the spill way. And we can keep the pollution down. And please pick up your fishing line don't just clip it and let it fly. Good fishing! Says R.Alameda
