Moosilauke Pond

Dam out; no pond, just a seasonal stream. Says D. Fitz

Near Moosilauke Pond is a great 1-mile-from-start-to-finish part of whitewater on Mad River, a type III, this is the Gorge portion. This portion of Mad River is advised for raft paddlers of medium practice. A wonderful 5-mile-long whitewater run on Beebe River is close by. This, the Sandwich Notch to Campton Hollow segment, is a type II-IV. This segment of Beebe River is suited for raft paddlers
who have been raft paddling for a bit but who are not yet prepared for the especially dangerous rapids. You should check restrictions previous to going; raft paddling could get dangerous.
