Custom Search     Von Canon Lake     Had to hike in from 211. Earth dam was broken and deepest water was only about two feet. Not much to see. Appears to have been drained for a few years. Says Beachmole Twin Oaks Farm is an outstanding setting to ride horses near Von Canon Lake, and Von Canon Lake is not far at all from West End. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Farm Pond Campground is always a good experience, and after a long day outdoors Pinehurst Resort is a perfect location     to spend a night or two. This is a magnificent area for folks who like lakes. Aberdeen Town Lake is a lake nearby.
