Their enthusiasm and dedication to teaching children was truly special. They were wonderful stewards of instilling responsibility, integrity and respect. All important life skills I attribute to my years at Camp Summit. Like my two older siblings, Sean and Stacie, I spent five summers (1974-79) learning     every sporting and first aid activity possible. I was truly blessed with this experience and I?m forever grateful to my parents. Now that I?m a father, Camp Summit has become the bench mark of which I measure all other camps for my children. Thank you very everything Mr. & Mrs. Cart. It was an experience of a lifetime that I?ll never forget. Says Todd M. McEwen I had some great times as a camper there. Ben and Julia Cart were fantastic folks. Says Wiley Hamilton I was also a Summit Camper during the same time, along with my sister Stacie and my brother Todd. After high school and just before college in 1979, I returned as a counselor. They were also the best times of       my life. Says Sean McEwen I was a Summit Camper in 1971, 1973,1975. The camp was owned by Ben and Julia Cart. Kids from up and down the east coast spent their summers riding horses, waterfall sliding, tubing, water skiing,   and sneaking over to the boys' and girls' camp cabins to visit boyfriends and girlfriends.
