Says Daisey Burrell There's a great 6.5-mile-in-length class I-III whitewater part on French Broad River close by, the North Carolina Route 251 to Route 1634 portion. This portion of French Broad River is fitting for kayak paddlers who have been whitewater rafting or kayaking for a while but who are not yet prepared for the exceptionally dangerous rapids. Check current conditions prior     to departure on the whitewater, otherwise it's not secure. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes?
