Custom Search     Savage Lake     The watershed and Dnr killed the lake. We lived on this lake for over 73 years. 6 year ago they came with all the rules. Says Donald Smith Savage Lake was once a recreational lake. Recent abuse by the DNR, the county's Watershed District, and the city has turned the lake into a lily infested, deadzone. There is no recreation available in Savage Lake. The lake has no public access. It is only visible from the I35E freeway as you pass over the lake.
