Custom Search     Mitchell Lake     I visited this lake once last summer. the public boat launch was extremely muddy and weedy. water clarity was around two to three feet, and there was significant algae growth. stopped at the sandbar for a swim and a half hour later realized I had a serious case of swimmers itch. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the vicinity of Mitchell Lake. Everyone likes a good game of mini golf at Crosswoods Golf Course & Grill, and why not take     a little spree to Crooked Creek while you're here. This lake is so wonderful.
