Custom Search     Long Lake     Bertram Lake and Long Lake offer no public access. these lakes are land locked by a private land owner. Fishing is poor and the carp have taken over. Sorry to burst your bubble. This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like Pelican Lake near Long Lake is a good spot to explore. Take a visit to close by Brightonwood Farm and ride a horse, and a wonderful place to camp here at Long Lake is Lake Maria State Park. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Maria     State Park is a good site to check out on a gorgeous day, and why not camp at Shady River Campgrounds while you're here at Long Lake.
