Custom Search     Lawrence Lake     I have lived on Lawrence Lake for years and find the comments about camping here misleading. Lawrence is not a real lake with swimming, fishing,etc. Rather, it's an environmental area. I don't think it's deeper than six feet anywhere and I'm not aware of any fish populations. It is more of a duck hunting spot and shouldn't be misrepresented as a camping or fishing spot. Says David Anderson If you need a place to stay Super 8 Staples is a pleasant choice,     and Lawrence Lake is not far at all from Staples. Budget Host Inn Long Prairie is a great location to get some rest.
