Custom Search     Walloon Lake     Walloon Lake is a wonderful 7 square mile lake in possession of a shoreline of 30 miles. The 500-foot height difference at nearby ski resort Boyne Mountain is great; it has 60 ski trails blanketed by 12 feet of ice cold snow every season, served by 14 great ski lifts. 70% of the ski trails at Boyne Mountain are green and blue. Of the 415 acres of skiing territory 30% is black and red; there's something for everyone at Boyne Mountain. Nearby there is a     great 1-mile-from-beginning-to-end class II-III whitewater sweep, the Petoskey sector of Bear River.
