Custom Search     Mona Lake     In this lake you can stumble on good bluegill, catfish, channel catfish, bass, black crappie, crappie, largemouth bass, muskellunge, muskellunge, northern pike, perch, smallmouth bass, walleye, white bass and yellow perch. Mona Lake is a picturesque 695 acre lake. If you need a site to stay Red Roof Inn And Suites Muskegon Heights is a nice choice, and if by chance you are searching for a marina, North Shore Marina is in the vicinity. For all     you boaters, Grand Isle Marina is a wonderful marina close at hand. Camping at Hoffmaster State Park is always a good experience, and the picturesque marina of Bluffton Bay Marina is a fine setting to leave dry land behind.   A public boat launch is located at the East end of the lake, just off Seaway drive. It has parking for about 45 trailers. Gas is available at the Mona Lake Boating Club, on the South side of the lake. Access to Lake Michigan may be possible through the channel at the West end. It depends on water levels and caution is advised. Check the marine report first and talk to boaters with local knowledge if you haven't tried it before.
