| | Born on Lake George, July 7, 1949. The lake served my youth well as we swam, swam, dived, fished and more. The lake is a child’s delight and in my teenage years, it served me and my friends well to ski and fish too. The winters are always interesting, if you have plenty of wood for the wood stove and fireplace. The lake would freeze in winter to about 8'' and maybe get to 12'' thick. Snowmobiles are fun on the lake. We had a ski-sail too that served us well |
