George Lake

 
 
The waters of this lake encompass some glorious black crappie, bluegill, crappie, bass, northern pike, perch, rock bass, smallmouth bass, sunfish, walleye and yellow perch.
George Lake is a beautiful 160 acre lake.


On Peshekee River you come across the close by Peshekee Grade to Highway 41 sector. This is a type I-III, 17.9-mile-from-start-to-finish run of whitewater. The Peshekee Grade to Highway 41 sector of Peshekee River is suited for paddlers
    who have been kayak paddling for a period of time but who are not yet prepared for the really perilous rapids. The Highway 41 to Sturgeon River section has a length of 2.
