Custom Search     George Lake     The waters of this lake encompass some glorious black crappie, bluegill, crappie, bass, northern pike, perch, rock bass, smallmouth bass, sunfish, walleye and yellow perch. George Lake is a beautiful 160 acre lake. On Peshekee River you come across the close by Peshekee Grade to Highway 41 sector. This is a type I-III, 17.9-mile-from-start-to-finish run of whitewater. The Peshekee Grade to Highway 41 sector of Peshekee River is suited for paddlers     who have been kayak paddling for a period of time but who are not yet prepared for the really perilous rapids.
