If you would like to get out on the water, Eagle River Marine is close by, and when you're here it's always fun to explore Ottawa National Forest. There's a good 19.4-mile-long type I-III whitewater part on Ontonagon River - South Branch nearby, the     Highway 28 to W Br Ontonagon portion. In general this part of Ontonagon River - South Branch is an enjoyable place for raft paddling.
