What a site this is for outdoors folks. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lower Richardson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Frye Notch Lean-to - Appalachian Trail. Head out on the delightful water at Haines Landing Marina; a tour to Grafton Notch State Park is a wonderful idea. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water nearby, Blackcat Brook is a stream you can check out while you're here. Rifle Point is in the vicinity and always
magnificent to visit. If you need a location to stay Grand Summit Resort Sunday River is a glorious choice. There's so much to do here at Lower Richardson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hall Mt Lean-to - Appalachian Trail is a nice spot for that.
We stayed at South Arm campground and paddled the lake every day. One night we rented a wilderness site and tented from canoes. We also drove down the road and hiked out and back on the AT. -Great Place!
