Tucker Lake

I use to go there in the 70s when Mr. Moss owned it. They had a diving platform and boards. There were train cars sunk in the bottem. It's not a lake. It was a rock quarry. We used to buy beer from Mr. moss, but if Mrs. Moss saw you with it, she would take it from you! Had a lot of great times there !!! Says Dennis

Tucker Lake that once was no longer exists. My family and I used to travel to the counry on Sunday's to enjoy the seclusion, swim, scuba dive
and relax. It is now the center pc. of town homes. Sad, but true. Says Martin

Yes, the lake is still there. Just went past there a few days ago. It is no longer open for swimming, etc. Not sure who owns it now. Says Brian

I
know that it closed but not sure if the lake is still there. Says Walt

Is Tucker Lake still in existence? I remember about 15 years ago we used to go there (Off Taylorsville Road), pay t oget in and swim in the lake. They had lifeguards, and a concession stand and a baby pool. Does anyone remember this? Does anyone know if it is still there? Says Pete
