Very magnificent water scenery is available at New Olathe Lake Dam near New Olathe Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything New Olathe Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hillsdale State Park - Saddle Ridge. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Falcon Valley Golf Course is nearby.     After a long day outdoors Days Inn Olathe Medical Center is a nice place to spend a night or two. A nice zoo near New Olathe Lake is Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead; they have scores of pretty animals.   Living near Lake Olathe definitely has it benefits, including fishing and great photographs. Boating (restricted to 5mph) no personal watercraft ( jetskis) Sailing small boats is excellent.
